SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — 4 de noviembre de 2026 — Con el objetivo de transformar a la isla en el principal puente hemisférico de innovación tecnológica, alfabetización digital y desarrollo socioeconómico, la PR-USA Chamber of Commerce (PRUSACC) y el Puerto Rico AI Institute & Consortium (PRAIIC) celebrarán la 3ra edición de su conferencia anual bajo el lema cumbre: AEXIS: The Americas AI Exchange. El magno evento internacional se llevará a cabo los días lunes 9 y martes 10 de noviembre de 2026, de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m., en la sede del Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR) en San Juan.

El cónclave reunirá a distinguidas autoridades gubernamentales, académicos internacionales y líderes del sector privado. La apertura y las sesiones magistrales estarán encabezadas por el Dr. Miguel Cardona, Exsecretario de Educación de EE. UU. y profesor en las universidades de Yale y Harvard, junto a José Luis Rivera-Villamañán, Chairman de PRUSACC y PRAIIC.

Entre los anuncios más trascendentales destaca la presentación formal del programa "Intel AI-Ready Schools" en Puerto Rico, una alianza estratégica entre PRUSACC, PRAIIC, el Departamento de Educación de Puerto Rico (DEPR), Intel Corporation, Atlantic University y la American Military Academy. Esta iniciativa forma parte de un esfuerzo de 250 planteles entre Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico diseñado para cerrar la brecha de competencias digitales—un reto que representa un impacto potencial de $13 billones a la economía global. El modelo piloto en la isla ya cuenta con tecnología desplegada e infraestructura avanzada en la Escuela María Socorro Lacot de Guayama (sector público) y la American Military Academy. (sector privado), dotadas con supercomputadoras portátiles (Ai Ready Laptops) de última tecnología mundial PANTHER LAKE (Intel Core Ultra Series 3 18A) con capacidades de IA y módulos de entrenamiento provistos por Intel.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — November 4, 2026— With the goal of transforming the island into the main hemispheric bridge for technological innovation, digital literacy, and socioeconomic development, the PR-USA Chamber of Commerce (PRUSACC) and the Puerto Rico AI Institute & Consortium (PRAIIC) will hold the 3rd edition of their annual conference under the summit theme: AEXIS: The Americas AI Exchange. The grand international event will take place on the days of Monday, November 9 and Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Association of Engineers and Surveyors of Puerto Rico (CIAPR) in San Juan.

The conference will bring together distinguished government officials, international academics, and private sector leaders. The opening and keynote sessions will be led by the Dr. Miguel Cardona, Former U.S. Secretary of Education and professor at Yale and Harvard universities, along with José Luis Rivera-Villamañán, Chairman of PRUSACC y PRAIIC.

Among the most significant announcements will be the formal presentation of the program"Intel AI-Ready Schools" in Puerto Rico, a strategic alliance between PRUSACC, PRAIIC, the Puerto Rico Department of Education (DEPR), Intel Corporation, Atlantic University, and the American Military Academy already underway. This initiative is part of a broader effort involving 250 schools across the United States and Puerto Rico, designed to close the digital skills gap—a challenge with a potential $13 trillion impact on the global economy. The pilot program on the island already has technology deployed and advanced infrastructure in place at pilot schools María Socorro Lacot School of Guayama (public sector) and the American Military Academy (private sector), equipped with state-of-the-art PANTHER LAKE (Intel Core Ultra Series 3 18A) AI Ready Laptops with AI capabilities and training modules provided by Intel.
